How can we say we want a peaceful world when as a country we are arming ourselves to the teeth?
How can we expect other countries and groups to lay down their arms when we are bending to pick up more?
We have travelled the same defensive, pre emptive, attack without questioning motive road for too long.
I think if we are going to make any headground in the battle for peace we must lead by example.
Lay down our arms....or at least for a start ,stop hoarding weapons.....and start talking more.
Wars do not solve any problems they just prepare people for the next one...and we really don't have room for any more wars....
with the advances in military technology we would detroy everything and everyone would lose.
So, if only we could use our 'Intelligence' for what it is and start using our heads rather than our hands on the trigger.
