Here is a poem i wrote for me and Alex's 5th month anniversary today!
Onward and wayward
Our love has not seized.
Through light and darkness,
Through tears and pain,
Through sorrow and happiness,
Through new beginnings,
And hopefully no sad endings.
Trust me as I trust you,
Love me as I love you,
Look at me as I look at you.
Hold me in your trance,
With your endless blue eyes.
Hold my hand, and never let go.
Help me learn, and help me grow.
Grow to love you with all my heart.
Always make new beginnings.
Each day a new feeling.
Each morning a new longing.
To hold you, to love you,
To watch you, to touch you.
The warmth of your hand against my cheek,
Holds my voice, I cannot speak.
You always make my heart fall
Take it off, reveal it all.
Let me see what you’ve shown no other.
The love that unites a man and woman,
The love that I won't share with anyone else
But you…
It is not my best work, but at least i tried.
