For a couple of years now I have been contemplating donating my hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with medical hair loss. Be it from chemotherapy or from a condition that prevents them from growing their own. I finally gathered up the courage today to cut my waist length hair. I donated almost a foot and a half of hair. It was really easy too. I went to the website www.locksoflove.org, found a salon in my area who worked with the program and stopped in. My haircut was free and I feel 4 pounds lighter. Or you can have someone else cut your hair. There are instructions on the site that tells you how to send it in. I will only take me about a year and a half to grow my hair back, and in the process I am helping make some little girl out there feel alot better about their apperance. The waiting list is very long for a hairpiece, so come on all you hairy women (or men too!!!) and give a little of your hair and a lot of confidence to a child.
