*Gene, there's nothing sinister about this on my part. It's a choice, not a pre-requisite. You chose to use your real name and that's fine. Like most here, I'm choosing to use a nom-de-plume. Enough people here in Hollywood know who I am, and frankly, I wouldn't mind if the whole world knew, provided I did something worthy like a screenplay or novel, which are two goals of mine.

Maybe I should also confess to a little paranoia. I had a stalker about a year and a half ago, and it was a scary experience. Fortunatly, he was dealt with, and won't be bothering me again. So if I seem a little over-protective of myself, please try to understand.

Anne, what thatoneguyinslc said! Judging by the tone of Mr. Nash's reply, I'm very surprised he didn't tell me to mind my own bee's wax! Since he seems so interested in looking things up, I'm willing to guess that he went to your homepage and saw your pic, which is very nice, btw, and wanted to learn more about you. He may have wanted to know your real name so that maybe he could contact the Writer's Guild and weasel more info about you, like address, phone number, and so on. Maybe I'm wrong. That's mere speculation on my part.
At any rate, he seems to have some issues within, and I wouldn't give him another thought.

I'm amazed at how many "intelligent" people think President Bush is Dumb, so I had to ask "why is that", CAUSE I WISH I WAS THIS DUMB, TO ACHIEVE AS LITTLE AS PRESIDENT BUSH HAS ACHIEVED......

He received a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1968
He learned to fly jets, and served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard
President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975.
He assembled the group of partners that purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989.
He served as managing general partner of the Texas Rangers and knows business
He was elected Governor on November 8, 1994, with 53.5 percent of the vote.
He was the first Governor in Texas history elected to consecutive 4-year terms when he was re-elected in 1998, with 68.6 percent of the vote.
President Bush has signed into law bold initiatives to improve public schools by raising standards, requiring accountability, and strengthening local control.
He has signed tax relief that provided rebate checks and lower tax rates for everyone who pays income taxes in America.
He delivered on his major campaign promises to lower taxes, pass an education bill, and a Medicare Drug Program.

So, I had to ask, why the disconnect. Someone as dumb as people think he is, couldn't have accomplished what he has. Is this just "hateful speech"? After talking to Lisa's Uncle yesterday, I don't think so. He owned one of the most respected Architectural firms in LA.... so he's no dummy either. Here's the conclusion I came to:

People think George W Bush is dumb, cause he doesn't do what the Democrats do. Lie, steal, and cheat. For example, look at the difference between Bill Clinton and Ron Reagan, both very popular (and smart) Presidents. Compare Reagan, a man of tremendous principle compared to Clinton, a man of a tremendous lack of character. When Clinton was in trouble, he resorted to lies, character assassinations, and PROBABLY even murder, in order gain popular opinion and to combat his political opponents.

And then look at Kerry, who IS "smart enough" to realize what Michael Moore says, which has made him millions, and that is, many Americans are so stupid, they think if you look "pretty" for TV, don't make any "dumb looking expressions", then Kerry must be smarter than Bush, based ONLY ON TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT TO GAIN MADISON AVE. LOOKS. Yes President Bush was pretty stupid, to be talking to hurricane victims, instead of "primping" before such an important debate.

BECAUSE SURVEY'S OF PEOPLE WHO
"LISTENED TO THE FIRST DEBATE ON RADIO"...
BUSH WON, ON CONTENT, ... OVERWHELMINGLY !!!!!!!!

And there you have it, If President Bush was smart, according to some, he would get rid of opponents, by whatever means it takes, political or PHYSICAL MEANS, even murder, to remove anyone from getting in his way of getting the job done quickly. And just as amazing, MOST AMERICANS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR LAWYERS, YET 1/2 SAY THEY MIGHT VOTE FOR EDWARDS, ONE OF THE WORST AMBULANCE CHASING LAWYERS THERE HAS EVER BEEN, AND KERRY, A LAWYER WHO STATED VERY CLEARLY IN HIS COLLEGE DEBATE, HIS INTENTION WAS TO GO TO VIETNAM, GET A FEW MEDALS, AND COME BACK TO CONTINUE HIS ANTI-WAR PHILOSOPHY, WHICH IS THE ONLY THING THAT HE HAS NEVER FLIP-FLOPPED ON.. YEP, A VERY SMART LAWYER, WHO WILL SAY WHATEVER HE HAS TO, TO WIN HIS POINT, YET WITH NO SUBSTANCE, PROVEN BY HIS 30 YEAR RECORD, TO BACK UP WHAT HE SAYS.

I DO BELIEVE PEOPLE SEE THAT DIFFERENCE AFTER THIS LAST DEBATE.

AND, NO MATTER WHAT THE OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION, PRESIDENT BUSH HAS CHANGED THE COURSE OF HISTORY IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND HISTORY WILL REMEMBER HIM AS A COURAGEOUS LEADER, STANDING UP GOOD MORAL VALUES, AND FOR THE SAME PRINCIPLES THAT MOST OF THE COUNTRY BELIEVE IN.
