Why has the RIAA never got the real reason why most people share there audio media-- because of the astronomical cost of purchasing new music the legal way? |
I never realized that $1 per song or $15 per CD is considered astronomical. The only acceptable price for such noble pirates is $0.00, eh?
Nonetheless, there is strong evidence that most people P2P for music they wouldn't necessarily buy even if there weren't such a thing as P2P. |
I didn't know most people download music they don't like. That's a waste of time, if you ask me. If I was a pirate, I'd download music I like and often listen to.
Furthermore, they more often than not go and buy the music they like and are loyal to regardless of the insane inflated price. |
Evidence? (preferably from some source that isn't exaggerating in an attempt to justify piracy)
Of course, I know that even the most hardened pirate needs to rationalize their behavior.
