Old Stuff Part II

Sometimes I Wish...
Sometimes I wish I were a butterfuly
Without any cares,
No places to go
People to see
No rushing around unwillingly
Fluttering around on wings of silk
The butterfly seems to say,
"Life is easy,
Life is perfect,
Life is warm and sunny."
In the sunshine he floats,
Without any cares or worries
The colours he holds
Are beaming with glory
Surely he's sent from above
Sometimes I wish
I were a butterfly
I see him glide through the air
Dancing from flower to flower
First on the lilacs, to smell
The sweet smell of lavander
Then onto the golden daffadils
To pick up some shiney gold dust
Then to the pink pansies which smell like sugar
He makes his way to the clear bright blue sky
Oh sometimes I wish I were a
Butterfly
...if nothing else this reassures me that I'm a much better writer now. Why am I posting this?
