I finally got around to messing with Advent, and it seems there are a few little bits of the culture system I don't quite understand, so a couple of questions in that respect if I may;

1) How many culture points does a single culture spreading building from any of the races generate in its home system? This assuming it's alone, and there are no others anywhere within the empire.

2) I understand that culture spreads more slowly as it spreads to further systems. How is this mitigated as a percentage of the initial spread amount/points per second? (assuming again, no resistance and no other buildings within the empire) - also is this mitigated per phase lane, or per planetoid?

3) I know culture spread stacks if I place more than one of these buildings in a single system. Does it double as I add more, or does it add an additional percentage per station after the initial one?

4) Along the same lines as 3, if I build one of these stations in one system and let it spread to the next two systems and then proceed to build one two systems away, will its influence a) automatically be added to the spreading culture, only be added to the spreading culture at the mitigated speed when it finally spreads that far or c) never reach two systems away?

5) How is resistance calculated? Is it just culture per second vs culture per second, with the higher one pushing the lower one backwards?

6) If I aimed to spread culture from one location to all other planets, assuming no resistance, would it theoretically be possible with only one build, or is there a max number of systems it travels before ceasing to have any impact?

7) Finally, can anyone explain the reasoning behind culture not spreading evenly? For example, in my current game I have an earth style planet with three phase lanes leading off of it. One leads into my territory, and the culture is spreading there without a problem. One is leading into enemy territory (an asteroid) and is spreading fine in that direction too. The third however, is also leading into enemy territory - another asteroid - and yet, the phase lane is still neutral coloured. There doesn't seem to be any hostile culture working its away along that lane, so shouldn't my culture spread in that direction too?
