Admit I'm still very green. And have so far been concentrating on TEC for now.
But I noticed that I tend to get Capital ships way before Cruisers very early in the game. I do concentrate on the weaponry and repair lines before concentrating on the Hull techs so perhaps that is why...

Is this intended? Was this part of the game design? I just found this a tad odd thats all, or perhaps my gamestyle is just different?
