I agree, it should get released here in europe. I know alot of people who would just love the game. It's one of those games you keep on your computer all the time, just like Civ, and Master of Orion 2, in case you "feel like playing it".

pre-ordered digital a handful of days before release and loving it. Certainly no regret on my part, although i wish a publisher would take up the game for europe, i mean really, the game is too good not to be available here. IC and SD deserve more sales.

From EU as well here (Denmark), ive checked everywhere i could find, and theres no release dates. In some threads theres a mention that Stardock havent located a distributor for europe, which ofcourse would explain the lack of releasedates.

I decided to order the download + retail copy, and there wasnt any problems at all, installed the game without any problems.

Ive also had some mail correspondence with Stardock regarding my purchase, since i wanted to buy another license for a colleague (to save freight costs). And i must say that their service (Stardock) is top quality. They transferred the extra license to my colleague without any problems.

In general, what I'm trying to say, is that you could choose to pick up a copy through their online store, I can highly recommend them.

My experience with digital ditribution of games isnt that good, ive tried other services like Steam or EA's online service (cant remember its name) and theres allways problems (at least for me).

The digital purchase system works just fine - smooth, pretty quick operation so I would recommend that!

It was bizarre for me on release day... Saw it was out on the website. Searched Game - NOTHING! Amazon.co.uk - NOTHING! Not even a pre-release date. Was soo confused untill I read about the apparent 'lack of German market'. The support for this game is just building and building.

hmm, almost feels that Europe is scared to publish anything that hasnt got EA in really big letters on it.

In 99% of cases i would agree with you Dontdrop, but this game has one huge benefit when it comes to digital distribution. Its done by Stardock, who quite frankly are great when it comes to support. (boy, i sound like some irate fanboy, but its the truth)

And you can always e-mail Sales@stardock.com and ask your questions there and maybe you can work something out.

I couldn’t wait for UK shops to start supplying the game, so I downloaded it instead. The download software was easy to setup and the download speeds were awesome; I was playing within a few hours!

I have managed to persuade at least 10 of my friends to buy it, none of them knew the game existed before I told them.

I am really surprised by the lack of advertising / marketing. System Shock 1 and 2 did not get the recognition they deserved for the same reason. In fact, many classic games have slipped have suffered a similar fate. I hope this won’t be the case with SINS.

I think Stardock is one of those rare 'By gamers, for gamers' companies. I heard that they were great during the beta testing, listening and reacting to all suggestions.

I think its the way of the future, with digital publishing the feedback process can continue in a much better way than before, and updating is easier. Maybe this stems from the role MMORPGS have taken in terms of feedback. Either way, it means better games, and games that get better! (slaps wrist for cheesy comment)

I really wish european publishers would understand that there's a market here for games outside the FPS/Platform/Action genres...

Belgium here, purchased it online and it was only 30 euros so that's definately money well spent for a game this cheap!!
