First off, go play a game yourself with 1000 or more ships and lead them into battle with another 1000, if you get frames around 60 then ill keep my mouth shut.
I dont need 60 fps to play, and having already done 700 at a decent clip, I have plenty of reason for concern.
the motto has always been "if your rig can handle it", pfft. not anymore, apparently.
Once again you talk about something you have no idea of what you talking about.
see, thats whats bugging me. they've made a decision without talking to ANYONE beyond their precious gamma circle. but apparently we've never gotten even a close shadow of what the internal model is.
Mod it if you do not like the limitations.
the whole CONCEPT is playing online, not the singleplayer. online
with other people which is impossible with this lovely brainchild.
I support it 110% as it makes for better frames for all, so even low end machines can play larger maps.
see? this is what I'm talking about, the game has always run by the concept "if your rig can handle it, you can play the vanilla game that way"
something thats been trumpteded to us a million times, thats decietful and wrong.
Well maybe you should be a beta tester for ping pong 2
obviously I would have been a better gamma tester than you have been.
you failed in the representation of the beta testers multi, fantastic, thank you.
This is not possible as a transaction from your account was made once you got access to the beta.
sure as well wish it would, because now I feel like I've just delt with a relatively sleezy car salesman. not a pleasent feeling.
finally kosc: they never mentioned an intention to shatter the knees of this game with goofy restrictions, in fact we've continuously gotten false information that "the game handles as many ships as your rig can handle" not even half a week ago, obviously post-change.
