Download-only orders also get downloads of the soundtrack and PDFs of the printed CE goodies.
Why didn't you or someone else just say so?
NO WHERE is this information stated, other then in kryo's post.
So this statement still stands.
But take this scenario: Potential customer goes to store and sees the game for $39.99. He/she then goes back home to look up reviews (which is what i always do) and finds the game can be downloaded with no hassle with a CD. So Potential customer visits site and realizes you are charging $5 extra and can not see any reason for this. Potential customer leaves thinking SD is greedy and decides to buy Warhammer game pack instead (example of misolanius game).
Lets see, charing $5 extra for a "digital download" without informing people that the DD will include a downloadable version of everything in the CE edition (and what will not be in retail) except a physical manual. Someone needs a smack in the back of the head for bad marketing.
-edit- err, forgot about the tech-tree poster and hotkey card, but the music and artwork alone justifies $5 -edit-
And FSS (for somethings sake) put this info in the store page on this site and on total gaming, see quote for reason.
