Haven't blogged in a week

having withdrawals :)

I don't blog on weekends, I'll only blog while Nick's at work - that way I can't be accused of liking joeuser more then him or other such nonsense - (don't get me started on his japanese cartoons!!)

Anyway some Monday morning I found I was unable to login - something about having to have cookies enabled (my security is accept all cookies) so I ignored it and surfed around anonymously - it wasn't really my intention to be anonymous when I replyed to notsohighlyevolved's post about Aus and Columbine.

Tuesday came still couldnt login so I read all day instead.

Wednesday I thought I'll just see what happens - lo and behold it works *shrugs* i dunno

no wait - today is thursday... I've lost a day... *scratches head* i dunno

Okay so it worked today being Thursday - what was I going to say?

Okay Thursday night previously Wayne posted another Elana pic for me - I don't know if anyone's seen it but it's the professional one we gave my mum for mothers day. I'd get him to post the professional one we gave nicks mum for mothers day but their scanner's been out of commission for a couple months.

Friday night I finally did that baking I was going to do 3 weeks ago - I made dark/white chocolate peanut butter chunk cookies - the chocolate chunks are huge and the biscuits are like bigger then my palm and they're really crunchy just the way I Love them. (nick prefers soft biscuits and thus far hasn't had many - all the more for me!!!!)

Saturday we got up early to go to the markets - but they weren't on - we were under the wrong assumption - the markets are in indro the 1st and 3rd saturday of the month and new farm 2nd and 4th -- however there were 5 saturdays in may - so the market people got a week up and Nick got me out of bed and out of the house before 7am on a freezing cold saturday morning for no reason. But instead of going home - we walked to Indro the long way down moggill rd and went to Brumbys and got a pie and sat on a bench outside the senior citizens club to eat it then we went into Indooroopilly to do some grocery shopping because as you already know the markets were not on.
We had a juice boost (mm watermelon crush - nick had a stress booster) and bought the 3rd Lord of the Rings because neither one of us had seen it when it was at the cinemas. (we had the opportunity once in January - nick got his parents to babysit then 6week old Elana while we went to the movies but I opted to not see a movie and spend the 3hours having lunch and shopping aimlessly and spending time alone - it was nice but everywhere we heard babies crying and looked around, saw babies in prams and carriers EVERYWHERE and felt like extremely bad parents especially when while sitting at a cafe eating tegan's mum and dad came in to the same cafe where they were meeting friends and asked us "where's your baby?")

Anyway so we went home to watch that and later Al came over because he and Nick had an assignment due Monday - they went to uni and knocked it off in a couple hours and then came back here and we had pizza and I watched 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls and TOP GUN while they were downstairs gaming.

Sunday I convinced Nick we needed to go to indro to buy Napisan and it was just before lunch that we left and so we had to eat out.

we went to V's and had steak sandwiches oh YUM. (THICK we're talking 5cms? (is that too small) oh who am I to judge just thick ok with steak and bacon and egg and tomato sauce on one side and lettuce red onion and cheese on the other (oh and nick's had tomato i asked for no tomato) - somehow you had to figure out how to put the two together so you could then figure out how to fit it in your mouth - it is a sandwich afterall right?)
I want to go back again and have breakfast - maybe sunday

Then home again and I did some washing with said napisan and finished watching LotR3 and the rest of the afternoon was spent unproductively reading and watching dodgy sunday afternoon tv -a saintly switch bad disney movie where mum and dad switch places and dad is pregnant while mum has to play football- oh and the lions totally creamed the demons (sorry mugz)
then it was american idol final/einstein factor and the block then the my resturant rules final.

it was Final show fever on sunday

So that was my belated weekend blog

That's a good thing... sounds like you've got your priorities straight at least... I don't blog when my girlfriend is down for the weekend either.

I dont blog on weekends either - thats mostly because I cant really operate a computer! well, cohesively at least... I do find myself browsing the forums though, because I am up and about when the wierd timezoners are around

I try and recount my weekends activities on Monday morning, and most of the time, that is pretty hard to do!
