Multiplicity, Full Screen Games and another Multicasting Vote

Hello,

I'm running Multiplicity Pro 1.2 on 5 XP secondaries and a dual-booting XP/Vista primary. Both OS's expierence the same problem. When I configure my PC's in a 3 col by 2 row grid and fire up Full-screen games (World of Warcraft) on the top row Multiplicity will not let the mouse exit the screen on the bottom - the sides and top all work fine. If I choose to run the game in windowed mode, but choose the maximize window option I have the same problem.

Is there a fix for this?

Also, I'm seconding (thirding, fourthing, whatever ...) the votes for the addition of multicasting options for the keyboard and mouse. I have tried every software KM out there and Multiplicity is by far the best. Many people on the dual-boxing forum are paying an additional $10 per PC to get this option from software called KeyClone and using it with multiplicity ... PLEASE put them in ...

So it is 2 tall 3 acccrost? If you hit the bottom row you can't to the top? Have you set them up in the advanced users grid in the settings menu?

Yes, it's 2 rows high and colums across, setup in the advanced grid placement. This is the configuration:
Top Row: [1]1280x1024 [6]1360x768 [5]1280x1024
Bottom Row: [2]1650x1050 [3]1650x1050 [4]1650x1050

When I play World of Warcraft I play it on PCs 1-5. When on PC 1 and 5 I can't mouse downward into PC 2 or 4, I have to go over to PC 6, then down to PC 3 to get access to the bottom row. The mousing works fine when fullscreen games are not running. Also, if PC 6 isn't on, I can 'catch' one of the corners on the bigger monitors and get the cursor down there, but not anywhere in the middle.

Alright is each monitor connected to their own PC? If not how are they set up?

Also did you set this up in the advance grid set up?

Yes, each monitor is connected to it's own pc, and yes, i used the advanced grid placement. I'll create a ticket. thanks.

I am having the same problem, except I get it always when I do any variation of trying to get two monitors vertical. Just two currently, I've used advanced setup and the basic one with the vertical option checked. In both cases, my top monitor in fullscreen will not let my mouse go to the monitor underneath it via the bottom of the screen, but I can roll over the top to get to it. Is there a known fix for this or do I need to call and put a ticket in myself?

Depends on the set up. Multiplicity treats computers as just one machine. So if you have more than one monitor in one machine Multi doesn’t know that. It just understands where the boundaries are based on the display settings you have. Now if you have one monitor on top of another between two machines (and multi pro) if you go to Interface > configure > advanced grid set up you can set on on top of the other.

Never hurt to start a ticket either.
