This morning my TV happened to be 'parked' on the channel that the Jerry Springer show airs on, so, when I turned on the TV it just so happened to conveniently be showing a wonderfully, gloriously, trashy episode of The Jerry Springer show.  Oh, how I've missed that show.

I couldn't tell you exactly what the topic du jour was (I think it was 'I married you so I could get drunk'), but it was filled with the usual amounts of "Go Jerry! Go Jerry!" chanting, plus the requisite amounts of name calling, cat fighting (including the absolutely necessary hair pulling) and the bouncers in the black T-shirts that say 'Security' on them.

I can't watch the show often, but every now and again, it is delightfully tacky (sorry for borrowing your slogan there Hooters) and such fun to sit and watch the unwashed characters slappin' each other around for stealing someone's boyfriend/ girlfriend/ husband/ wife.  Not the best TV has to offer, but an interesting distraction, when Springer isn't busy on Dancin' with the Stars or the like.
