| I read that the other day. Pretty cool, except their offspring can't produce viable offspring...i.e. grandchildren. The tadpoles die because they're riddled with recessive genes. This is only possible because amphibian skin is very thin and has different properties than mammal or bird skin...so no transparent parakeets or hamsters for us. ~Zoo |
