Extended battle

I dunno, the idea popped into my head: an extended battle over several weekends (with an hour, hour and a half timeshare each) with a 5-10 ffa (diplo) on a large large map. it would be pretty cool, but it would take a lot of coordination to set up.


if anyone wants to get one started?

Probably not a good idea during the beta, what with saves breaking between versions.

I understand, but then again this IS the bug beta, so after a bit of a lull we should press the system to see the cracks.


of course the first thing I would have done would be to suggest a haitus for the primary patches and bugs during beta 3. after the first few bugs are gone we probably will have 2-4 weeks of uninterrupted time to get a BIG battle going.

I heard the month "November" being mentioned for BETA 4!

4 weeks might be pushing it...

it would be an "extended battle" a little at a time, I dont feel like sitting through a 40 planet game in one sitting...
4 weeks might be pushing it...

2 weeks is probably pushing it...
I heard the month "November" being mentioned for BETA 4!
