Intro Movie

Is there going to be a intro movie when the game releases. I just preordered today and there's not intro to the beta (which is not a problem)

However, I would really like to see a really cool intro movie once the game releases. IDK why games dont really put intro movies like they use to (many just completely ignore the intro such as Halo 2, Homeworld, etc.)

the into could just give the outline of the story the Dev's have given us already. (deep breath)
start with a short snipet of how the vasari had a grand empire, then faced a massive cataclysm and are now on the run, then cut to a growing Trader empire, then them finding the Pre-Advent and banashing them, cut to a florishing trader empire, then the vasari jump in and cause violence of a horrific nature. (breath) the show the start of the TEC warmachine (start building warships, or outfitting cargo ships). then show the Advent jumping in to meet TEC forces. then have somekind of slogan or something over the ensueing choas. like the last words of the trailer "....the sins of our past have damed us to extinction"

You say Homeworld didnt have one? that aint true, it did, and i liked its stile

it had an interesting 1, but not a memerable 1.
i say that because i can't remember it, only random cutscenes half way through the campain

Homeworld didn't have an intro. When you first launched the game there wasn't an action intro just the company logo and the main title.

So either we're looking at a 4 hour intro, or blue space ponies. Nice... (Edit: We'd better be careful if we don't want an easter-egg movie to find its way in-game involving space ponies...)

We'd better be careful if we don't want an easter-egg movie to find its way in-game involving space ponies...
