I like the writer's sense of humor! And his last name is Butts lol.
I also like how Yarlen created a thread on the same thing...but nobody commented lol.
Now I know from experience that many people are shaking their heads, saying, "there is no way all that is going to run on my hunk-of-junk computer." Before March I was a bit skeptical myself, as I didn't know for sure if Sins would scale as well as we wanted, because we hadn't tested it in the public domain. Well, now that we are well into development of beta 3, the data from beta 1 and 2 is in and the testimonials have arrived, we have confirmed that Sins does scale extremely well and we even have reports of people playing Sins on machines well below our projected minimum specs.
I think I'm one of those people lol (5200 gfx card, 512 RAM)
At some point closer to release we'll have to cut it off, unfortunately, and save the unused ideas for the expansion.

Expansion already!?!
Aside from the other two factions and multiplayer, most of the content is remaining is confidential but I'll drop a few hints: more environmental content, more NPCs, more ship customization, more UI advancements, more additions to the TEC (the currently accessible faction), more music, modding tools and much more!
Wow, I think I'm more excited about SoaSE than Spore (which I've been waiting for for 3 years)
