...this has been going on on almost every bootup (seems to happen when i have the Blissful Dream as current background..mostly):
after booting up, and logging on to my system..i get an error popup telling me that Deskscapes requires that I download and install Windows Dreamscenes...obviously i already have that installed...when i close that error message..i see my Deskscapes background animating as normal...with blissful dream it does not REFRESH itself, and i see the NIGHT (moon) background..even tho my clock shows current time of morning or afternoon.
then, occasionally, the animation will freeze...tried to pause and restart..no help there...sometimes i try to change to another background, and system does not seem to respond...i then have to change to a STATIC...(IE non-dreamscene/deskcape) image to 'reset'...then i can change back to a deskcape image...is this a .dll error on your part or microsoft's..?
are there any patches i can d/l?
current dxdiag is provided below (pertinant info only) and yes, i have very current drivers for all my hardware....
