Dark Avatar Custom race Bug

I started a new game of Dark Avatar by selecting the YOr as my race. I then wanted to change a few of the Yors features. Like ship appearance and race color. Now when I go to start a new game and I choose the custom race it has the Yor as the default and I am unable to choose my Techs or Super Ability. I can't reset the custom race. I hit clear but that did not work either.

Hmmmn the only sure fire way of sorting this out is to delete the file 'prefs.ini' from my dos/my games/gcii/da.

That will reset the custom race for you. A suggestion is to save the default one before you modify it
