Thirdly, in regards to our recent rulings on homosexuality and its proper place in American life today,on behalf of all the poor little 'gay' people who can now be proud poor little 'gay' people, I say thank you, America. Although many of the non-gay people in this country (a number growing smaller every day) are concerned that this un-natural growth in un-natural acts will lead more and more of the of the country's young and innoccent numbers, by means of seduction, into this until recently thought of as a sick and perverse lifestyle, we don't want to offend any of the genuinely so-called perverse people by legislating laws that might protect our young from such sure to be coming seductions. The local priests and ministers of certain denominations were having all kinds of problems with certain trouble makers and they too are making changes in their way of looking at so called perversities. At any rate, if any of you or someone you might know is adversely affected by our removing these old laws meant to protect you from abuse and such thing as that...forgive us.
Now, we move on finally to the matter of abortion. While many would say this is a private matter between the doctor and patient, the courts recognize that there is somethings they must act on in the issue. First of all, if you have a religious objection to the taking of life, don't you think that ought to be taken up in church? The courts have higher things to do than to deal with 'hurt feelings' (except in the cases of poor little 'gay' people), and why do you feel anyone cares how you think? What is important is that the courts are taking all things into consideration. Both the pros and cons are being weighed. Back years ago, I can't recall exactly when, we were made aware that many of you out there think partial-birth abortion is a horrendous thing to do to a fetus, and despite the fact that the congress of the United States overwhelmingly voted to ban the procedure...we needed more 'legal' understanding before we could say what's what. We're sorry, but that is our job. At the risk of sounding pompous, it is our job to say what is medical procedure and what is murder. Yes, we are only judges; we put on our robes one leg at a time, but what we say goes and if you don't like it then move or something.
So, in closing, welcome aboard, homosexuals, and too bad for you if you oppose the right thing to do, and then I woke-up and I feel like praying.
