I have been directed to write this apology on behalf of the judges whose recent rulings they are sure must seem unusual, maybe even 'un-godly' to some. Hopefully we can here clear -up much of the confusion about our actions, and help you accept what we are sure many of you feel is being shoved down your throats.
First, we apologize to God, if you exist that is. If you, God of Abraham, etc. &etc., do indeed still reign in Heaven, and if your "Bible', your so-called 'book of books' is your Word, and the thing is actually true...then we are truly sorry for our tampering with the thing. The thing is(and we don't know if you're really there) you've lost us... and as far as we can tell we'll be better off interpreting you as well as our forefathers in a new and modern way. We understand that knocking you off your supreme being perch is no little thing, so...if you are real, forgive us.
Secondly. (addressing regular people now) reviewing all the recent court manoeverings of laws in regards to pornography, try to understand our position. We recognize that our seeming laxness in allowing the now multi- billion dollar industry (jobs, jobs, jobs) to thrive has been the cause of many young people being sucked in to the seemingly depravity of this un-masked demon,(so to speak). We apologize to the hundreds and thousands and millions of people who have been adversely affected by our decisions to strike down the laws that were in-place to protect you from such a seemingly horror-show. However, we hope someday, someway, society will be better because of what now looks like an idiotic and foolish actions on our part. Some would have me go on here about the mass production of this filth increases dramaticly the number of our little and innoccent members of society who become aquainted with what was once recognized as wickedness. We again are sorry for any inconveniences this might have caused the parents or the so-called victims themselves. A judge has to do what a judge has to do. Right?
