I am trying out Multiplicity on my set up at work, and for the most part it it great.
The only real problem I run into is when the Security time-out locks the screen(s)
The time-out is 10 minutes of inactivity, and is set by the Domain, so I can't over-ride it locally, and I sure can't modify the policy for everyone just to suit me.
Here's what happens when the screen locks:
Hit C-A-D to bring up the login screen, and type password on primary PC
Hit C-A-D again to bring up login screen on secondary PC
this causes the Task Manager option window to come up on the Primary screen.
I then have to:
click "Cancel" on the Primary screen,
move the cursor to the Secondary screen and click on something
move the cursor back to the Primary screen and click on something
move cursor back to the Secondary screen
click on the login window
enter my password
My set-up at work is this:
Primary PC is a standard Desktop
Secondary is my laptop (Thinkpad T-42) in a docking station.
Both running Windows XP Pro
This ends up being quite annoying given that I am constantly coming and going to and from my desk.
Is this something that only affects the trial version? Is there is a workaround in the Standard or Pro versions?
