Patently petty pet peeves

Sometimes I wonder exactly how well developed I am. There are just some very minor things that annoy the heck out of me.

Asking to borrow something, be it money or a paperbag... what's up with most everyone asking, "what do you need it for?" I reply with either lend it to me or not, do not sit in judgement if I truly need something, if I am asking, I need it!!

Toothpaste caps left OFF the tube. For gods sake woman put the cap back on, that's what it is there for!!

People that do not wash their glasses or plates, you know the ones, they slobber all over the glass, then rinse it out with cold water and put it in the clean glass area.

 

This is all I am going to write about, but believe me there are many more. I wanted to leave space for others to get their "PATENTLY PETTY PET PEEVES" OFF their chests.

People who don't wash their hands after using the restroom and then head straight to the buffet. Yuk.

Guys who piss all over the toilet seat because they don't know how to raise the seat or use a urinal like a man.

K... A very petty pet peeve of mine, When one is done using the dish towel, hand towel or bath towel, people just dump it on the counter or wherever, IS IT so friggin hard to fold it up and put it how you found it. Ok another one, when one is done reading the newspaper put it in the recycle bin instead of by the door that leads to the bin. I dont/can't read the apaper and i still ahve to oput it away.

I'm just amused that this comment earned the distinction of identifying that the culprit is of the female persuasion.

Would you care to swap for my resident woman -- one that never wipes up the water droplets all over the sink area after doing anything there?

Same thing after she steps out of the shower and drips all over the floor.

Why she can't seem to figure out that she could stand in the shower stall for just a little longer wiping dry or dripping off without making the big wet mess on the floor escapes me, and apparently escapes her too.

Of course complaining about it in person doesn't do any good, so here I am airing the family dirty laundry here at JU.

People who have no idea how to behave as human beings and behave like bullies.

Supermarkets who stock a product and once you start to use it - they drop it.

Political Correctness. (banish it).

Hey MM   ever since you had mentioned once about people not washing the "outside" ofdishes as good as they wash the inside, I've made a point of doing better at this.  Just thought I"d mention that,  see,  you helped me.

Pet peeves?

1.  Leaving socks laying on the floor,  if you can bench press 200# why can't ya pick your socks up?!

2. Leaving your dishes in the living room if you eat in there.  Get them out to the kitchen and rinse them,  dang it anyway!

3. Not replacing the roll of toilet tissue roll.  Nuf sed!

4. Anyone that doesn't clean up after themself!  Whether it's in a fast food place,  or at home,  pick up your messes!

5. Loud people

6. Rude people

7. People that don't clean up after their pets,  even if it's in their own yard,  the smell does travel...

8. People that let their kids run amok

9. Nosy people

10. People sitting and tapping, drumming, swinging their foot, looking around while your'e talking to them,  and then expect me hang on their every word. Ain't gonna happen.

Here are mine:

1. A certain man in my life whose feng shui (his term not mine) is messed up when the dish plates aren't stacked in the proper order.

2. The same man who must have the silverware placed handle down (unless it's a knife)in the dishwasher.

3. The same man who must have the silverware placed in the drawer with all the handles neatly stacked.

4. The same man who must use a new glass for ever drink even if it's only been 5 minutes since he finished using it.

My patently petty pet peeve is when you use the end of the toilet paper and get out a new one. Only you don't take the old one off the holder and the new one just kind of sits on the sink.

And people who post a little one sentence blog that links to some un-funny bullshit and thus bumps down my well thought out but-at-least-its-original un-funny bullshit. These scoundrels should have their entrails removed and burned while they watch with dying, agonizing eyes.

Other than that, hey I'm cool with just about anything...

as a bachelor I threw a roommate out that refused to wipe the sink after shaving.. nasty And disgusting.
