The Islamic world has hated us for many, many years. Thing is, now, rather than facing innocent, unarmed citizens on cruise ships or planes, they're facing an armed, trained military force that's willing and able to pursue, attack and kill them before being killed (and, as I've recently heard, with bullets they've often dipped in bacon or sausage grease from breakfast).

Yes many in the Moslem world have hated us for years. The result of our invasion is that we now have MORE Moslems that hate us and that this movement has spread to other countries in greater numbers.

Bush told us our invasion of Iraq was to allow for the Iraqi people to select their own government and create STABILITY, first Iraq and then in OTHER Moslem countries. The NIE and the reality on the ground says just the opposite: The results of our policy in Iraq have been:

Added instability in Iraq
Added number of terrorists world wide
The terrorists have moved into more countries compounding the security problem.

This is what you get when a person is elected as President that HAD NO FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE and refuses to listen to those that have that experience.

And by the way, the AP and NYT reports were wrong. Nothing in that NIE repoort states that we are in any more danger of attack now than prior to Iraq. That was just politically motivated bullshit. In addition, the President of Pakistan was interviewed within the hour on CNN and flatly stated he disagrees with Bush about the War in Iraq and said our invasion has made terrorism worse and the world LESS SAFE!.

Not quite true. If you actually read it on CNN's site you'll see that he did say that the war "has made the world a more dangerous place", but he did not say it has made terrorism worse. Yet another lie from you on that one.

The terrorists were attacking us many years prior to Iraq and we did nothing about it. We weren't in Iraq on 9/11/01. We weren't in Iraq when the USS COle was attacked. We weren't in Iraq when the Marine barracks was attacked.

Quit indulging in your hate Bush-fest and look at the facts for a change. Those people have been attacking us for decades and Iraq was an open supporter of terrorism.

If we have disrupted their leadership, why are the level and change in their tactics taking place? The NIE says they have expanded and moved to other countries. That does not sound like their effectiveness has been reduced. What must be taking place is that as we kill a leader they have others willing and ready to take up the fight.

The bottom line is that the Iraq War is the source of the increased terrorism thought the world. That is what the NIE and the President of Pakistan have concluded. That does not make us safer!

Bush and those that blindly follow him totally ignore the reality and “Stay the Course” to disaster.

The NIE below clearly states that the Iraq war is the cause of increased terrorism. The President of Pakistan said the Iraq war has made terrorism WORSE and that he was in disagreement with Bush. He lives this war and is a lot more aware with DIRECT knowledge then GWB. This is also in line with the report by the CIA that the number of al Qaeda has increase world wide from 20,000 before 9/11 to 50,000 today.
