While watching some of the weekend talkin' heads shoes earlier today one of the political pundits made a prediction that with the coming of the elections in just a few weeks so-called North Eastern Republicans/Conservatives would be an endangered species and basically would be eliminated.
I'm curious how others feel on the topic, and just who would seem to be the predicted losers here. Some of the races are tight, and the polls aren't necessarily looking good for the GOP, but the same was said in 2000 and later in 2004. Certainly the North Eastern area is known as a more liberal part of the country, but are the races in these areas trending enough that the left can already trumpet and proclaim a victory?
