You think you looked horrid, the stranger thought you looked beautiful! Possibly he saw what you couldn't. That's always the nice surprise getting a compliment like that! |
Yep it sure is! Least someone thinks I look pretty, hehe!

Atleast you were able to accept his compliment and appreciate it. I know some will turn around like a rabid dog |
Yep I know many girls who would of done that, but I'm guessing it must of taken alot of guts to approach me, and it was a really nice thing to say, how could I be rude?
I think that's part of the reason people are unwilling to do things like that, in general. Too frequently it is confronted instead of appreciated, as in "What's that supposed to mean" or the like. |
Yes I agree, I know I would never dream of doing that, as I think it just wouldn't be appreciated, when you have the ability to brighten up someones day!
I think you reacted the best way, Sally, by thanking him and moving on before he had a chance to spoil the simple gesture with some clumsy flirtatious lines in order to win your graces. |
lol thanks Maso, I am sure some kind of flirting would of followed, but I made it clear it wouldn't be appreciated!
I work with a number of people who think they're so busy they can get away with being rude and not responding to polite salutations |
That's just wrong, how can they be happy to be like that to people? It's nice to be nice!
Thank goodness that guy was there to do what I couldn't be there to do . . . I'm sure you were stunningly gorgeous. I'm pretty sure you are all the time, dear. |
Aww shucks, thanks sweety
Thanks for the comments all x
