Little update as promised

Ok JU, here’s a little update article for those of you who would like to know what I’ve been up to these last 7 months. I’ll try to sum it up quickly so it doesn’t get to boring to read. I hope the pictures I post will come up ok, because I’m a bit rusty and I might have forgotten how to do it…

So anyway, I now live in New Caledonia. Still in the Pacific, but in a bigger city than Port Vila. I work for an outbound Tour Operator. It means that I get to organise trips for the clients of the local travel agencies. It’s pretty cool, and I get to have a lot of free of charge accommodation for when I travel. I haven’t taken any holidays yet because I just started, but I’m looking forward to it (cant wait for August)!!! The only worry is our boss. I’ll have to post an entire article about her, but just so you get the picture I’ll say she’s an evil witch.

Anyway, other than that I’ve been learning to dance salsa, merengue, batchata, and it is so cool! I’ve also learned a Tahitian dance called the Kaina, and so yeh, I’m in love with dancing

My little niece is now 4 months old. She's such a cutie, I love her, I love her, I love her!!!! Her name is Elsie Morgan. We still havent chosen which will be her first name!

I’ve made a few friends from work, the salsa classes, and also an old school mate. I’ve also bumped into people that used to live in Port Vila and that have moved out to here just like I did and it’s nice to see them. I’m quite happy with my new life I still miss Vanuatu dearly, and I miss Darren too. It’s normal. And I’m not into finding a new boyfriend yet. I’m being a good girl, an angel! Seriously I am!

So anyway, here are some pictures, I hope you like them!

My Mum and my little niece at the airport when I was leaving to the Isle of Pines (a little piece of Paradise in New Caledonia) the Isle Of Pines The sand is so fine it feels like silk I know i look like an alcoholic but it's not what you think... Anyway, these are just a few, and i hope they come out ok.

Hey IG,

It sounds like you've had a busy 7 months or so. I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying your new home and your new job but not about the 'evil witch'. I'm sure you'll sort her out soon enough

Unfortunately, I couldn't see the pictures you'd posted. But not to worry, I'm sure it is my computer, not yours. I hope this finds you well and happy. Looking forward to catching up further with you.

Have a wonderful Easter and don't eat too much chocolate.

Hi Maso! Thanks for the sweet comment Yes it has been a very busy 7 months, and even if at times it seemed as if it went real slow the truth is geez, time goes by so fast!!!

I hope you can see the pictures soon, they actually show on my computer (?).

I look forward to catching up with you too my friend. Hope alls fine in the land of Oz!!

And looking forward to indulging in chocolate for Easter, haha! Unfortunately Good Friday is not a Public Holiday in this froggy island... Easter Monday is, thank God, lol!

So talk to you soon Dynamaso and i hope the Easter Bunny brings heaps of chocolate

All is indeed well in the wonderful land of Oz. Just to catch you up, I've been very busy, particularly with music. I'm now in a hip hop band, we've recorded our first record and we're starting to do live shows. It is all very exciting, as I'm sure you can appreciate. Let me know if you have an email address and I'll send you some MP3s of our music.

I can't see the pictures either. When I click on this article, I keep getting a sign on prompt from msn. I don't know if everyone else is getting that or not, but thought I would let you know.

Congrats on the job and I hope all works out well with the boss.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like you're having a lot of fun gurl! Yuck, too bad the boss lady as to be a witch! Can't wait to hear about it. Congrats on the new neice and I'm glad you're just enjoying life and meeting new friends.

Wow...salsa dancing sounds so fun! Maybe one day I'll get my behind out the door to take dancing classes; I've always wanted to. It sounds like you are doing pretty good...look forward to seeing the pics when you are able to fix them.
