"Verify the source then accept text only," DA replied at once, going ever agitated at the endless stream of interceptor vehicles, all of which seem to want to know who or what ventures so easily from controlled star systems. "It seems that my absence as allowed my former acquaintances to forget my name and my ship. I think it is about time that they relearn the lesson that I so easily taught them those years before."
DA’s cold, heartless laugh was soon accompanied from his crew of seven, equally vile men and women, who have been with DA from the very beginning.
"Sire, the transmission is labeled urgent. It seems that this particular vessel is well aware of your identity and requests to talk to you immediately."
"Some recognition, about time," snarled DA. "Open com link."

[Hey, what’s up guys. I just bought GalCiv2 and finished installing it. I will play my first game tonight while I am on duty (the most boring part of duty). I must say that this game looks promising, but then again being an avid fan of GalCiv1 the transition will probably be seamless. Also, the whole Metaverse is different, not necessarily a bad thing I suppose, but different nonetheless. I just created my first character, Dark Assassin (big surprise there, eh). Anyways I will probably be around the forums more often now that I am playing. Look forward to matching your wits again, both in writing and in game!]
