OK. I got a problem.
About a month ago, my VB scripting on my system got all screwed up and I had to reinstall the scripts. Suddenly WB5 (paid for and working correctly), wasnt able to display the toolbar icons anymore...everthing else works fine. So I decided to uninstall WB5 and reinstall. After uninstall and reinstall, however, the problem isnt fixed. Also, I notice that my preferences from the old installation are transferred to the new installation. Shouldnt it be the case that, upon uninstalling and reinstalling, that the preferences should be at the default mode that I originally installed WB the first time?
This makes me think that, after uninstalling, there is still some information on my system pertaining to my prior installation and preventing a 'clean' install of WB5.
so I am wondering if anyone knows how to unistall WB5 with the certainty that all references to the prior installation are removed.
And yes....I am unloading WB prior to uninstallation and rebooting before I reinstall.
any suggestions much appreciated.
