Would you like to see pop growth slowed down?

I'm only on my third game but it seems like the whole 200 million people per year growth rate of planets is VERY, VERY fast. Would the game be more interesting if the growth rate were lowered? It seems like 4-5 turns to recover from an invasion that kills 1 billion of your people seems kind of fast!

The base is 100. It's 200 with 100% approval. They already slowed it down in a patch compared to release (i think it was 250 base). Rarely have i had an invasion kill only 1 billion of my population (unless i've way ahead on tech and soldiering). If it was any slower, you'd probably win before your planet recovered from a late game invasion.

Yes I would. Just take your starting planet for instance. Look at its population at start 5 b, but 2 months into it its around 6-7 b! That is way to much!

I have a solution to all of these time-related problems!

change "Weeks" to "Months" or "Years" and everyone will be happy.
