First of all I want to say excellent game, now to my problem. When I first bought the game, I came to this website to get the latest update. I entered my serial number and my collectors number and was taken to the create an account screen where I enetered my email and other information. I then downloaded the first update to the game. A week later I tried to get the new 1.0x update but keep receiving the error that my serial number wasn't registered. So I tried to make a post only to discover that my account wasn't there. So I proceeded to create a new account, but this didn't work because I never received a vaildation email. I then contacted support and they activated my account for me. Great I thought now I can get the lastest update, but I was wrong. When I tried to get the update with my now activate account I get serial number not registered so I went to the registeration page and tried to register my copy of GC2 but I am now getting the error message serail number not registered to this account. Feeling irked I contacted support describing my problem last week only to get the reply that european customer needed to get a new serial number. I replied to them that I didn't have the european version(bought my copy at walmart in New York state) and had both the serial number and collector's number and never received a reply. So at the begining of this week I tried again to contact support very carefully explaining everything said above and have still not received an answer or had the problem resovled. Like I said earlier I think GC2 is a great game but would like to get the updates, but I am begining to suspect that it will take a long time to get my account fixed and my serial number linked to my account. Just so you know, I don't use stardock and my computer where I play GC2 is not online so I usually just download the updates to my usb key and install them on my game computer. Any help would be nice and thanks in advance.
