I was thinking after viewing some of the pictures of user created ships on this forum, how cool it would be to have access to the ship designer outside of the game. Just a little stand alone app that would allow you to design ships and save them for use in the game... better yet, with some sort of manager for already created designs. It would be nice to be able to have a whole range of ships that I could just create outside the game and have available once the techs became available.
Anyone know if this is a possible stand alone that a user could create? I don't know enough about programming to tell. Better yet, might the developers be able to give us that sort of a program? It's not a big deal, but it would be something that I would make use of, that's for sure.
