if every war you declare your good alignment should be lowered probably there would be a great unbalancement between good and evil alignment, and remember that good choice imply so hard choices for now.Anyway i agree with you in principle

Wouldn't it be natural to have your alignment affected based on who you went to war with? A war monger who gobbles up minor planets, (or in real life a nation that swallows up smaller neighbors, ie: Nazi Germany, Napolean etc...) would lean toward the evil side . Another dynamic could be who you forge alliances with, because really, you are a reflection of who you associate with.......

Or maybe a more recent example is the USA's pre-emptive strike on Afghanistan, Iraq and (soon to be) Iran. Should there be a hit to the USA's Good/Evil alignment?

The "good" allied nations of world war 2 had been conquering nations and suppressing native populations for quite some time before the rise of the axis powers. In a historical context even "good" nations go to war fairly often.

As for who you ally with determining alignment, during WWII we allied with the Soviet Union, a country which had killed more of its own citizens just recently than hitler would kill in his concentration camps and had just invaded poland and finland. One could call this "evil". Does this mean we were made slightly less "good" by allying with them or does this mean we were just looking for convenient allies? I would suggest the later.
