I´m abit confused that I havn´t seen this brought up yet? Personally I have some serious "issues" with the way groundcombat works...
Is this added as an afterthought? It feels unpolished and unfinished. Groundcombat (invading planets)is an extremly important part in any spacegame. Right now it feels more like its rushed in right before realese?
To start with the graphics are horrible! The rest of the game looks absolutly stunning which makes the groundcombat stand out in a negative way even more! Better to remove it and do something simple graphicswise like MoO3.

Sure the concept is okey and all but it must be bugged someway? I have never ever (during about 15 hours of playing on beginner and normal) seen the defender having the advantage. Neither as defender myself or attacker. Even when the defender has more soldiers, higher soldiering number and higher techlevel. Something must be wrong here? I have had numeroues victories even when I attack with half what the defender has in manpower, have half the soldiering skills and are way behind in tech. I still get like 30-4 in advantage (if I´m lucky with the random klicking)
Which leads me to the "random clicking" Can this be turned of somehow? If I want to play on slots I´ll go to a casino...
I think there is much that can be done to groundcombat to make it more intresting. Rightnow it just feels "meh

And why does my transports disappear when I have invaded? The soldiers I can understand and/or even the assaultpods but the ships themselves?
