Greetings. My name is Engell and I'm a Stardock outcast. Please make yourselves comfortable and lend me your ears as this violation can not go by unnoticed. My tale is a grim one, it is filled with lies, deceit and despair; one that they have tried their best to cover up. But no more! I stand here before you to tell you what really happened.
It all started with me wanting to play this fine game, but sadly, the powers that be had an altogether different plan in store for me. After doing a fair amount of research about the game I felt confident enough to explore the final information frontier, real-time interactive information exchange, the IRC channel. All was well to begin with, infact, it was close to dandy. But then suddenly, for no good reason what so ever, the channel operators turned sour and started flailing on me. The entire situation was so absurd that I could hardly get my bearings, I'm a meek and humble person not used to such behavior; I was shocked. I was kicked and asked a question, which I can't remember at this time. While I tried to calm myself and produce an answer my assailant would be happy with, I was kicked again! While I was down! The nerve of some people! So there I was, fearing for my life, trying to scramble whatever thoughts were left in my bashed-in skull so I could give this goon an answer, any answer, anything at all to stop the mindless violence. I can not remember what I said, everything is a big blur due to the assault, but needless to say, he was not happy with it. In fact, he got so mad his entire body started shaking. He lined up one final kick, the coup de grace, and before I knew it I was out on the street, some information highway back alley. I came to my senses after a while, only to realize I was never to set foot in any Stardock establishment ever again, I was banned for life, I was quite literally a persona non grata. As I walked away, bruised, bloody and hurting, all I could think was "I just wanted to make some friends and play among the stars, I guess this cruel world has no place for people like me".
So let this be a lesson to you all, there are dangers out there, in this paradise we call the Internet. In the deepest, darkest corners, pure evil awaits to prey on the weak.
